@ Replies on Diaspora are Shared to Other Networks

@ replies on Diaspora get shared to other networks. That makes no sense. Diaspora has a conversation mode (actual conversation replies are not shared), but if someone uses the @ paradigm to post a note that should not be broadcast to another network.
